    What is a Letter of Authorization (LOA)?

    The LOA enables Power Round Rock to obtain historical energy usage information for the facilities to be included in the electricity bid request. TDSPs maintain historical information on electricity energy usage delivered to specific locations identified by ESI numbers. The LOA identifies the TDSP(s) wherein the facilities are located, the service addresses and ESI numbers for the particular facilities, and includes an authorization from the customer for the release of energy usage data. The historical energy usage data will then be communicated to the selected REPs for the development of bids. No personal information is shared.
